Programme Highlights
This seminar explores how next-generation smart lighting technologies are accelerating the journey toward digital-twin-ready buildings.
Mr Kevin GONG from DALI Alliance, will provide a technically focused deep dive into the evolution of lighting communication protocols—from DALI-1 to DALI-2, and further to D4i and DALI+. He will explain how advancements in protocol architecture, data capabilities, and interoperability lay the technical foundation required for lighting systems to participate effectively in digital twin environments.
Mr Timothy CHAN from SPL Lighting (HK) Company Limited, will examine how modern indoor lighting management systems are becoming a structural pillar of the digital twin era. His session will highlight how data-rich, interoperable systems, supported by open connectivity, 3D visualization, and flexible deployment models, enable buildings to achieve higher levels of insight, efficiency, and operational intelligence. He will also share project showcase as a real-world demonstration of how advanced lighting management supports and contributes to digital twin readiness.
Together, the seminar provides valuable knowledge for professionals exploring the intersection of smart lighting, building automation, and digital twin development, offering practical, future-oriented solutions for the built environment.

- No Show / Cancellation – Cancellation must be made by email to [email protected] with justification on or before 6 January 2026, 12:00 noon. Please quote your registration number in the email. Please note that if a registrant does not show up without giving advance notice, this would affect his/her eligibility to participate in future events.
- Certificate of attendance will be issued by email around a week after the event to participants.
- Please be punctual.
- The event will be cancelled when the Typhoon Signal No.8 or above, Black Rainstorm Signal or Extreme Conditions is hoisted at 12:00 noon.
- If you feel unwell, have fever or any sickness symptoms, please refrain from joining the event.
