Exclusive Event for HKGBC Members – Green Tour to Nina Park (只提供英文版)

The HKGBC is pleased to collaborate with Chinachem Group in organising a special Green Tour to Nina Park exclusively for our Patron and Institutional Members on Friday, 1 March 2024.  

Nina Park, a wood fossil park, is located in Tsuen Wan, adjacent to Nina Tower, Nina Mall and Tsuen Wan West Nina Hotel. Opening in late 2023, Nina Park and its facilities occupy an area close to 70,000 sq.ft., showcasing the largest collection of wood fossils among urban parks in Asia, all gathered by the late Mrs Nina WANG, the founder of Chinachem Group. This unique legacy inspires local and international visitors through exciting “edutainment” programmes and innovative designs. As Hong Kong’s first and only wood fossil park, Nina Park invites everyone to embark on a voyage of a million lifetimes.

Highlights:

  • One of the largest collection of wood fossils among urban parks in Asia 
    • The docents of Nina Park Wood Fossil Experience Centre leads visitors to explore through the history, science, and beauty of the fossil and our mother earth nature.  With exhibits from Pliocene Epoch, there are millions of years of petrification on show, enriched by multimedia content and interactive technology.
    • From harvesting and reusing rainwater to the wind catchers that help naturally cool down the Experience Centre, Nina Park preserves and efficiently ultilises resources 365 days a year. The Experience Centre is also designed around the existing trees to shade and shelter visitors.
  • Nina Park welcomes all ages and stages of mobility with accessible ramps throughout. Visitors are encouraged to sit on the grass and relax in the green spaces.
  • Exchanging ideas and networking with the Chinachem Group team.
