Tour Fee on 3 & 4 September: Free of charge for HKGBC Members
HKGBC will provide:
  • Tour arrangement on 3-4 September
  • Local transportation between the tour locations on 3-4 September
  • Lunches on 3-4 September
  • Networking Dinner on 3 September
Remarks:
  • Delegate needs to pay a refundable deposit of HK$1,000 to secure the seat. The deposit will not be refunded if the delegate is abdent from the trip.
  • Delegates have to take care of their own flight, hotel accomodation and travel insurance arrangements.
Networking Dinner on 3 September: (Optional) Our HKGBC Delegation is being invited to join the Networking Buffet Dinner to be hosted by the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC).
The HKGBC would be delighted to cover the cost of the dinner for all our HKGBC delegates. You may register with HKGBC.

Green Building Technical Visits – Smart Buildings
 
Join the technical visits to understand how energy-efficient building technologies and materials could be applied to the construction of smart buildings in a tropical built environment. It will also be an excellent opportunity to meet government officials and industry stakeholders in Singapore to know more about their master plan and perspectives on green building solutions.

    • R&D initiatives focusing on energy, urban greenery, living environment, waste & water and building technology
  • Eco tour
    • Treelodge@Punggol: Singapore’s first eco-precinct, a BCA Green Mark Platinum Award-winning project.
    • My Waterway@Punggol: Singpore’s largest man-made waterway, which has won numerous accolades, including the Grand Prize for Excellence in Environmental Engineering.

Green infrastructure is one of the most crucial components of a sustainable community. Join us on the second day of the trip to experience iconic exemplars of sustainable infrastructure in Singapore and share your views with industry stakeholders.

    • Presentations on the latest green building initiatives of BCA such as virtual design and construction projects, design for manufacturing and assembly, cross laminated timber construction and prefabricated prefinished volumetric construction projects
  • Visit to BCA Academy’s Academic Tower
    • Mix of existing experiential and test-bed facilities at the Academy
    • Rooftop education deck with a functional energy efficient chiller plant, life-size graphics on Universal Design and a dedicated outdoor air dual wheel system
  • Visit to Zero-Energy Building
    • The first Zero Energy Building (ZEB) in South-east Asia retrofitted from an existing building
    • Test bed for integration of Green Building Technologies (GBT) in existing buildings

  • The first hospital to win the BCA Universal Design Gold Award
  • Unique structural layout designed to provide up to 70% of the floor area with natural ventilation while reducing energy costs by as much as 50%

Organised by the BCA and Singapore Green Building Council, the Gala Dinner is an annual get-together of the green building industry. The winners of WorldGBC Asia Pacific Leadership in Green Building Awards would be announced at the Dinner. You are cordially invited to join in the celebration.
