EMSD & BSOMES - Webinar on Findings and Sharing of Pilot Run for The Digital Log-books for Lift and Escalators (只提供英文版)
Supported by the Hong Kong Green Building Council, a webinar on Findings and Sharing of Pilot Run for The Digital Log-books for Lift and Escalators would be conducted online on 9 November 2022 (Wednesday).
Co-organised by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Engineering Department (EMSD) and the Building Services Operation and Maintenance Executives Society (BSOMES), this webinar would introduce the Digital Log-books how to facilitate tripartite monitoring of lift/escalator works for enhanced management and safety. EMSD has established the cloud-based Digital Log-books System for lifts and escalators, with the adoption of blockchain technology, to achieve digitization of paper-bound log-book records. The Digital Log-books enable lift/escalator responsible persons, contractors and trade practitioners, as well as the EMSD to record, manage and analyze in real-time lift/escalator-related information via a mobile application or web portal, thereby facilitating tripartite monitoring of lift/escalator works for enhanced management and safety. This presentation gives an overview of the development, features, benefits and user feedback of the Digital Log-books.
The webinar would be conducted in Cantonese, supplemented by English materials.
