CPD Webinar - Unlocking the Value of Environmental Product Declarations: From Compliance to Market Leadership

This webinar is organised by the Hong Kong Green Building Council.

Programme Highlights

As global regulations on green building tighten and carbon disclosure becomes mandatory, Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) are transforming from niche technical documents into vital gateways to market access. This session delivers a strategic perspective on EPDs: why they matter now, how organisations can harness them for compliance and competitive edge and what the future holds.

The speaker will share insights ranging from the core principles and strategic value of EPDs, to the critical role of Product Category Rules (PCRs) and the key steps, costs and timelines involved in developing them. Participants will gain actionable knowledge and be introduced to major global EPD programmes and their mutual recognition mechanisms, enabling companies to navigate international markets with greater confidence. In addition, the speaker will highlight the digital transformation of EPDs, where automation and data integration are making declaration, verification, and reporting faster, more scalable and more reliable.
