Ms Grace KWOK May-han, Chief Sustainability Strategist of AEC Capital Limited
With over 24 years' experiences in sustainable design and green building projects in Hong Kong and across Asia-Pacific, Grace contributed to the early adoption of green building rating systems and worked on the first batch of HK-BEAM, CGBL, LEED, and BREEAM projects in Hong Kong.
With environmental engineering background, Grace is a keen advocate of regenerative sustainability for the built environment. She has served as co-opted member of HKGBC's Green Labelling Committee and Corporate Membership Committee since 2014 and was convenor of "My Green Space" Student Competition. Grace currently serves as HKGBC Director and is one of the conveners leading the development of Climate Change Framework for Built Environment. She is a member of the BEAM Standards Sub-Committee and Expert Panel of Construction Environmental Management aspect. Besides, she is a Founding Vice President of GBACNA, Councillor of HKIQEP, Co-Chair of ESG Committee of CRECCHKI and Co-Chair of Real Estate Working Group of HKGFA. Grace also serves on several government appointed committees, including the ECF Committee, BD's Expanded Building Committee, and EPD's Noise Control Appeal Board Panel. Outside Hong Kong, Grace contributes to WorldGBC's Net Zero Readiness Framework as Asia Pacific Net Zero Collaborator and shares regional insights through her roles in GRESB Real Estate Standard Committee, LEED Technical Advisory Group, and IWBI Health Equity Advisory.
Driven by a vision to shape a sustainable future for all, Grace works with building and construction sector through ESG and Green Finance advisory to build climate resilience and accelerate net-zero transition. She aims to contribute to HKGBC's mission with her extensive local and international experiences.
