Eugene KH SHUM is a Director and Head of Studio at Ronald Lu & Partners (RLP Asia), a leading sustainability-driven architecture firm in Hong Kong. Since joining RLP Asia in 2001, Eugene has amassed a wealth of green building-related knowledge and practical experience.
He has worked tirelessly to develop green buildings and green neighbourhoods, gaining experience in both the private and public sectors across a wide range of projects, including high-density urban planning, mixed-use, and open public space projects, making significant contributions to community building and improvement.
Eugene takes a leading role while prioritising collaboration - he is known for his ability to inspire others while fostering a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork for the greater good. He adopts a stakeholder-centric approach, establishing constructive connections with developers, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders that enable him to cooperate effectively with all parties in the green building industry.
