Hong Kong Green Building Week 2020 - Recruitment of BEAM Pro as Green Building Tour Ambassadors
Hong Kong Green Building Week (HKGBW), the annual territory-wide event organised by the CIC and HKGBC to promote green building development and sustainable lifestyle to the mass public, will take place online on 5-11 December 2020.
In the HKGBW 2020, we changed the event format from a physical mega-event to online programmes due to the uncertainty of the pandemic. Our key focus this year will be put in the Hong Kong Island East area with the theme of “Green Building Team Up! (綠建 Team Up: 創造零碳未來) ”, which signifies collective effort of green building professionals and building users with a common objective of decarbonisation. THREE online tour videos will be created and posted on HKGBC’s social media platforms for audience to “visit” and understand more about green buildings at Hong Kong Island East in a fun and engaging way.

Now we would like to cordially invite BEAM Pro to become the Ambassadors of our “Online Video Tour”. In the videos, you will team up with a KOL as the “Programme Hosts” to lead the audience to visit the SIX selected green buildings at Hong Kong Island East and highlight the sustainable features and its end benefits. TWO Ambassadors will be selected and will participate in the video shooting separately in two days.
Shooting Details:
- Date & time: A whole day shooting on a weekday in Late October (approximate 10-12 hours). Exact shooting date and time to be confirmed.
- Venue: 2-3 BEAM Plus certified buildings at HK Island East. Exact shooting locations to be confirmed.
- Language: The shooting will be conducted in Cantonese.
What to contribute:
The TWO Ambassadors are required to interact with the KOL and deliver the green building messages/scripts smoothly and properly in front of the camera. (The script on the green features of the selected buildings will be provided by HKGBC in advance.)
As a token of appreciation:
3 hours of CPD will be automatically uploaded to the BEAM Pro Individual Account of each Ambassador.
