Nan Fung Group Launches SEWIT Report 2024-25 to Accelerate Sustainable Momentum

Social Cohesion
Nan Fung became the first company in Hong Kong to set a social value target of HK$100 million by 2030. In 2024–25, it generated or facilitated HK$52 million in social value globally, bringing the cumulative total since 2022 to HK$86.3 million.
Environment
The Group expanded its disclosure to include Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions under SBT for the first time, presenting a more comprehensive view of its value chain impact. Climate adaptation assessments were completed at AIRSIDE in Hong Kong and 99 City Road in London, guiding responses to climate-related risks. The Group also completed a TNFD-aligned feasibility study to inform the design of a Group-level Nature Strategy focused on biodiversity.
Wellness
Nan Fung established the SEWell Six Pillars of Employee Wellness — spanning physical, mental, social, occupational, financial, and community wellbeing — with clear metrics for improvement. The SEWell Community further encouraged employee-led initiatives that enhance wellbeing and connection.
Innovation
Nan Fung mobilised 45% of tenants in Hong Kong — and 67% globally — to drive sustainability together through its tenant-landlord engagement programme, the Net Positive Lease. The NF Hackathon encouraged innovative ideas for process efficiency and social value creation, and, having expanded globally, achieved a 30% increase in participation.
Technology
The Group expanded its integrated data management platform to enhance operational intelligence, and piloted innovative solutions such as Quantum Optimisation Technology and EcoSonic Air Filtration to improve environmental performance. The integration of AI-enabled systems continues to drive smarter and more informed decision-making across its property portfolio.

Swire Properties has reaffirmed its position as a global and local leader in sustainable development, achieving top rankings in two of the well-recognised benchmarks in the industry: the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) and the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index (HSSUS).
For the ninth consecutive year, Swire Properties was named Global Sector Leader in the GRESB Standing Investment Benchmark and for the sixth consecutive year in the Development Benchmark under the Mixed Use Sector category. These accolades underscore the Company’s unwavering commitment to integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles into its operations and developments.

Tim Blackburn, Chief Executive of Swire Properties, highlighted the significance of these achievements: “We are proud to be recognised once again as a sustainability leader on both the global and local stage.
