New Function on BEAM Plus Project Online Account – Exporting the Project Information Fact Sheet

With Hong Kong Green Building Council’s continuous aspiration and efforts in providing a smooth and convenient experience in BEAM Plus project registration and certification, a new function has been introduced for the BEAM Plus Project Online Account. Project teams can now review, update and export the Project Information Fact Sheet for ease of communication with BEAM Society Limited (BSL) about the project assessment.

When the BEAM Plus Project Online Account is activated after successful project registration, project teams can log in and edit the project information before exporting the Project Information Fact Sheet for kick-starting the project assessment with BSL. Certificates and letters can be retrieved from the Project Online Account as well. For publicity purposes, project teams can update their project name and address displayed on the BEAM Plus Project Directory, as well as obtain illustrations of BEAM Plus Certification Seals, corresponding to the BEAM Plus project rating.

Check out the introductory website that demonstrates the various functions and features of the BEAM Plus Project Registration System and the Project Online Account, including how to export the Project Information Fact Sheet and other useful FAQs such as where to download the BEAM Plus certificates and how to change the primary email. Let us walk you through step by step for a better experience in using the BEAM Plus Project Online Account!

With a large quantity of RCx Practitioners and Professionals successfully registered under the RCx Registration Scheme, companies with RCx Practitioners and/or RCx Professionals can now register as RCx Services Providers and offer relevant technical services to the industry.

Hong Kong Green Building Council is taking the lead to enhance RCx standards of industry professionals and service providers, as well as to encourage the industry to adopt RCx as a primary energy conservation solution for existing buildings. Green Commercial Buildings for Healthy and Comfortable Workplace

Imagine when you feel exhausted at work, how relaxing it would be if you could escape from the workplace for a while, and do exercise or enjoy the landscape nearby. Commercial buildings have been no longer conventional in recent years. Instead, more features are integrated in the building to enrich the life of the working group, as well as to promote health and wellbeing.

Take The Quayside as an example. The commercial building is certified with a Final Platinum rating under BEAM Plus New Buildings. There are extensive landscaping and a jogging track at the podium garden of the building. As a way to promote a healthy lifestyle, people can enjoy the recreational facilities there, with the scenic view of the promenade. The jogging track is even paved with smart tiles that generate electricity by walking. At another Final Platinum-rated project - Lee Garden Three, there is an indoor jogging track as well. Besides, a garden with flora is built to attract butterflies and enhance the building’s biodiversity.

Located in Kowloon East – the second CBD in Hong Kong, The Quayside has achieved a Final Platinum rating under BEAM Plus New Buildings with its sustainability elements in the building design.
