HKIE, HKU, HKLTI - NEC Contracts in Hong Kong --- The Legal Landscape and Beyond
Supported by the Hong Kong Green Building Council, the 1-Day Conference on "NEC Contracts in Hong Kong --- The Legal Landscape and Beyond" would be held in Hong Kong on 25 June 2019 (Tuesday).
The 1-day Conferece is co-organised by the Centre for Innovation in Construction and Infrastructure Development (CICID) of the University of Hong Kong, Construction Disputes Resolution Committee of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE CDR Committee), and the Hong Kong Legal Training Institute (HKLTI). The Conference would have the highly practical and insightful experience sharing on the NEC Contracts focusing on common legal and other issues facing users, with a view to better contracting practice and dispute handling and resolution. The “NEC” stands for '' New Engineering Contract'' which has been endorsed by governments and industry worldwide and has an unrivaled track record for delivering projects on time and on budget. It would be the major procurement format for procuring and facilitating the sustainable built environment and all green building in Hong Kong in the years to come.
