HKGBC Session – Rethinking Built Spaces at ReThink HK 2025

The Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC) is pleased to support ReThink HK 2025 (11-12 September 2025) for the fifth consecutive year. As the Strategic Partner of the Sustainable Buildings & Infrastructure Sector, the HKGBC and the Construction Industry Council (CIC) will co-host the “Rethinking Built Spaces” Session on 11 September 2025 at the HKCEC.

The Session will explore transformative strategies across key phases of the green building lifecycle: planning and design, construction and operation for fostering sustainable built environment. Discussions will focus on the following key aspects:

  • Driving Climate Risk Management for Resilient Buildings
  • Transforming the Built Environment through Innovative Technologies

By bringing together various industry thought leaders, this Session highlights the critical need for cross-sector collaboration to accelerate scalable solutions and impact. Delegates will gain actionable insights into cutting-edge technologies, climate-adaptive design frameworks, and business models to propel our community towards a sustainable future.

Expanding our footprint this year, HKGBC is also participating in the “Rethinking The Circular Economy” Session at the Circularity & Waste Theatre on 11 September afternoon. Join us to discover how circular practices enhance resource efficiency in the built environment through inspiring case studies.
