Supported by the Hong Kong Green Building Council, the Winter Sustainability Summit 2024 would be held online on 5 Dec 2024 (Thu).

Organised by One Click LCA, the Winter Sustainability Summit 2024 is set to be the world's largest online event dedicated to how material choices can drive decarbonisation in construction. Buildings contribute 39% of global energy-related carbon emissions — 11% of that comes from materials and construction processes alone. A global 2024 study by One Click LCA reveals that up to 90% of construction professionals view the lack of sufficient environmental data from manufacturers as a major barrier to reducing carbon through smarter material selection. Quantifying the environmental impacts of construction products is essential.

This complimentary two-hour Summit would be be streamed across seven time zones,  featuring an insightful keynote talk discussing "Accelerating Low-Carbon Infrastructure at Scale". Additionally, the Summit would include a dedicated APAC Regional Session on sustainable materials adoption in APAC, which would be highly relevant for Hong Kong and its surrounding regions.
