The Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC) and the BEAM Society Limited (BSL) will co-sponsor a parallel session at the 20th International Conference on Green and Energy-efficient Building & New Technologies and Products Expo to be held in Zhengzhou, China, to promote Hong Kong’s green building capabilities to the international community.

Titled "BEAM Plus: Scaling Up Carbon Neutrality Practices in Global Cities with Hong Kong's Green Building Tools and Services", the Session will offer engaging presentations and panel discussions on key topics such as green building standards, green finance, and innovative technologies. This Session will also feature industry experts from the Greater Bay Area (GBA), highlighting the cooperation initiatives within GBA in achieving carbon neutrality and setting green building standards.

About the Conference

The International Conference on Green and Energy-efficient Building is the most authoritative international academic conference in the field of green building in China. It showcases China’s green building development concepts and achievements. This edition of the Conference will be held during 12-14 May 2024 at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre, with the theme of “Promoting the High-Quality Development of Green Buildings and Leading the Green Low-Carbon Transformation of Urban and Rural Construction”.
