Mandatory CPD Event - Technical Seminar on Action Plan for Enhancing Drinking Water Safety
The Development Bureau and Water Supplies Department have recently launched the Action Plan for Enhancing Drinking Water Safety in Hong Kong.

The Development Bureau and Water Supplies Department have recently launched the Action Plan for Enhancing Drinking Water Safety in Hong Kong. The Action Plan covers a wide range of aspects from water quality monitoring to publicity and public education to enhance drinking water safety. Control measures and guidelines over plumbing materials, design, construction and commissioning of new plumbing systems are progressively implemented for strengthening water safety in inside services. In this technical seminar, Dr HF CHAN will explain the scientific basis of the Action Plan. Mr Edmond LAU will cover the part on plumbing materials control while Mr Edwin CHAN will cover the part on design, construction and commissioning of new plumbing systems.
