Technical Seminar and Launching Event for HKGBC Guidebook on Urban Microclimate Study

The Hong Kong Green Building Council is pleased to introduce the newly developed guidebook, Guidebook on Urban Microclimate Study.

The Hong Kong Green Building Council is pleased to introduce the newly developed guidebook, Guidebook on Urban Microclimate Study. The Guidebook aims to provide the knowledge of and inspiration for urban microclimate design for practitioners in the building industry, and thereby to contribute to the improvement of Hong Kong’s outdoor environment. It features, among others, urban microclimate strategies that suit Hong Kong as well as local and overseas good practices for reference by practitioners.

On the occasion, Mr WONG Kam-sing, GBS, JP, Secretary for the Environment, will be the Guest of  Honour. The Chinese University of Hong Kong, as Lead Consultant, of the study, will deliver a presentation on the Guidebook and 3 local good practices featured in the Guidebook will be presented by guest speakers followed by a vibrant panel discussion moderated by Dr Benny CHOW, Convenor of the Urban Microclimate Study Steering Committee.
