HKGBC Climate Change Framework Launching Ceremony

Developed by the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC), the HKGBC Climate Change Framework is going to be launched on 5 June 2023 (Monday).

The purpose of the Framework is to serve as a tool box for the industry in Hong Kong relating to carbon neutrality and climate risks management. It sets out the definitions related to carbon neutrality in Hong Kong, calculation methods of energy and carbon based on those definitions, benchmarking schemes and reference data for managing climate risks.

It is intended to be a Framework that is recognised by the industry and can be adopted by developers, building owners, designers, consultants, contractors, product/service suppliers, government, research and financial institutions, etc. 

You are welcome to join the Launching Ceremony virtually and know more about the Framework. The Framework and the Certification Schemes will be introduced. Also, subject area experts will deliver presentations and have a panel discussion on the climate and carbon neutrality-related matters.
