Supported by the Hong Kong Green Building Council, the "SME ESG Best Practices Recognition Programme" is now open for application from “Property & Construction Sector” until 31 August 2022 (Wednesday).  

The “SME ESG Best Practices Recognition Programme” is co-organised by Dah Sing Bank and Friends of the Earth (HK). The Programme will assess the overall improvement in sustainability performance of SMEs. Recognition certificates will be awarded to the SMEs who have attained a certain level of Environmental (E), Social (S), Governance (G) best practices.

Throughout the programme, it aims to enable local SMEs to understand the relevance of ESG practices to the industry ecosystem for sustainable operations.

Eligibility: 

Applicants should meet the following requirements in order to participate in the SME ESG Best Practices Recognition Programme:

• Has started business in Hong Kong no later than 1 January 2021. Applicants must submit a valid (at the time of application) Business Registration Certificate upon application.
• For the Property and Construction sector, an enterprise should have no more than 50 employees in Hong Kong
