Supported by the Hong Kong Green Building Council, the Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) and Hong Kong Green Innovations Awards (HKGIA) are now open for application until 11 December 2020 (Friday).

The HKAEE and the HKGIA are led by the Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC) alongside the Environmental Protection Department and in conjunction with nine organisations, namely, in alphabetical order, Advisory Council on the Environment, Business Environment Council, Federation of Hong Kong Industries, Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong Productivity Council, The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Chinese Importers’ & Exporters’ Association, The Hong Kong Council of Social Service.

The HKAEE is an annual award which aims to encourage organisations to implement environmental management, to measure organisations’ performance on their commitment to environmental management, and to recognise organisations with excellent performance on environmental management.

The HKGIA encourages organisations to solve problems with innovative green ideas which have been turned into tangible gadgets, equipment or systems, resulting in benefits to the environment, organisation and the community; Green innovative entries exhibiting achievements on eco-antipandemic are most welcome in 2020.

Organisations and employees can obtain professional advice to improve environmental performance by participating HKAEE and HKGIA, thereby enhancing the corporate brand image and shouldering social corporate responsibilities.
