Supported by the Hong Kong Green Building Council, the Chun Wo Innovation Student Awards (CWISA) is now open for submission until 30 April 2020 (Thursday). 

The Chun Wo Innovation Student Awards (CWISA) is a biannual award established by Chun Wo Development Holdings Limited (Chun Wo) in 2018, it is an initiative that aims to encourage university students from all disciplines to use an engineering approach to address challenges revolving around urban infrastructure, technology, and social development. These pillars are crucial in determining the future transformation of a city as well as people’s livelihood.

Leveraging the power of technology, participants of the Chun Wo Innovation Student Awards can creatively provide solutions to the livelihood of many. Reducing energy consumption, smart traffic control, and flexible street lighting are a few of the many pressing issues that many cities are currently facing. The CWISA will award practical and innovative engineering solutions to build a smart city - one that is sustainable, integrated, and livable.
