IFMA Guided Tour: Innovative Green Architecture - Victoria Dockside

Supported by the Hong Kong Green Building Council, the IFMA Guided Tour: Innovative Green Architecture - Victoria Dockside would be held in Hong Kong on 4 Jan 2020 (Sat).

Hong Kong’s Silicon Valley of Culture, K11 MUSEA is the new cultural-retail destination on Victoria Dockside, Hong Kong. Inspired by ‘A Muse by the Sea’, K11 MUSEA is designed to enrich the new consumer’s daily life through the power of creativity, culture and innovation.

A destination 10 years in the making, K11 MUSEA opened its doors in August 2019 to usher in a new era of cultural retail which speaks to the growing consumer demand for naturally immersive experiences of art, culture, nature and commerce.

K11 MUSEA achieved green building certifications; including the Hong Kong BEAM Plus (Provisional Assessment – Gold level) and the U.S. LEED Gold Level Certification. By launching the Hong Kong's first urban biodiversity museum- Nature Discovery Park, it helps preserve the city’s rich biodiversity and calls for a more sustainable urban lifestyle by promoting farm-to-table and vertical farming and plastic reduction for marine health, as well as supporting local social enterprises and environmental conservation.
