Supported by the Hong Kong Green Building Council, the Excellence in Facility Management Award 2026 is now open for applications until 12:00noon on 17 July 2026 (Friday). 

Organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management (HKIFM), the Award aims to promote the facility management profession and recognise the excellence in performance of delivering quality service to local and overseas facilities. Themed "Driving Innovation in FM, Mastering Risks for Excellence", the Award 2026 evaluates the strategies and action plans in integrating innovative initiatives into facility management services as well as controlling the potential threats, to create a more intelligent, effective and safety environment for their stakeholders at nominated facility projects. A Theme Award on “Mastering Innovation and Risks” would be granted to organisations/management teams with outstanding achievement in this specific area for Year 2026.

There are sixteen (16) categories under the Award. They include:

• Hotel & Serviced Apartment
• Industrial
• Academic / Technological
• Medical & Community Health Services
• Government & Non-profit Organisation’s
• Residential (Large-scale)
• Residential (Medium-scale)
• Residential (Small-scale)
• Public Rental Housing (2,000 nos. or below units)
• Public Rental Housing (2,001 – 4,000 nos. units)
• Public Rental Housing (4,001 nos. or above units)
• Subsidised Sales Housing
• Commercial Building (Large-scale)
• Commercial Building (Small & medium-scale)
• Retail
• Project Outside Hong Kong
