Nan Fung Group (the Group) has attained the highest five-star rating in the 2025 Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) Real Estate Assessment and is named Global Sector Leader in the Diversified (Office/Retail) sector. This underscores the Group’s unwavering commitment to holistic climate and impact strategy, as well as its industry leadership across its office and retail portfolio.
Since establishing the SEWIT sustainability framework in 2022—a five-pillar strategy encompassing Social Cohesion, Environment, Wellness, Innovation, and Technology, the Group has continued to strengthen its sustainability efforts across all areas of operation, with a particular focus on environmental management and place-based community investment to drive operational excellence and create shared value.
The Group’s performance is underpinned by forward-thinking, impact-driven stakeholder engagement. Environmental stewardship is also deeply embedded throughout the development lifecycle; from planning and design to construction and operation, the Group ensures every project stage delivers positive environmental and social outcomes.
Ms Vanessa CHEUNG, Managing Director of Nan Fung Group and Chairperson of the SEWIT Committee stated, “We are honoured to be recognised as a Global Sector Leader by GRESB. This fuels our drive to continue pushing boundaries in our sustainability efforts, creating meaningful, lasting impact with our partners and cultivating a more resilient, sustainable future together.”
GRESB benchmarks the sustainability performance of asset investments globally with reference to international frameworks and goals, delivering insights to financial markets on factors that influence long-term value. In 2025, an approximate of 1,000 fund managers completed over 2,300 assessments globally. Amid such broad participation, the Group’s strong performance stands out—demonstrating how it turned vision into tangible action and led by example through outstanding performance within the industry.
