Gammon is pleased to announce the release of its 22nd edition of the sustainability report – Sustainability Report 2024, which is now available on the website.

It is the first report to reflect on its efforts following the new sustainability strategy – United Ambitions, which Gammon launched last year. As such, the contents are presented around the Company’s three focus areas of Climate & Nature, Resources & Circularity, and People & Wellness.

 

Inside, you can read about its decarbonisation journey so far, as Gammon works to meet the ambitious Science Based Targets commitments, and some of the key achievements that support a more sustainable approach to construction. These include its largest MiMEP installation, the increasing use of robotics and AI, the progress at improving concrete’s carbon footprint, the expanding circularity initiatives, and the use of sensors to improve the efficiency of plant and equipment.

 

You can also learn about the activities of its DEI Council and employee-led networks such as Young Professionals Group, Multicultural Affinity Group, and Women in Gammon and Allies Network which all support the creation of an inclusive and fair workplace where employees are encouraged and supported to learn, grow and be the best version of themselves.

 

In addition to highlighting project and corporate achievements during 2024, the report provides an opportunity to hear directly from Gammon’s colleagues on topics including the power of big data and how network relationships drive work engagement and safety performance; it also picks up a few words of wisdom from some of its 2024 industry award winners.
