Four sets of Carrier AquaEdge® 19DV centrifugal chillers and two sets of Carrier’s 30XW AquaForce® Water-Cooled Liquid Screw chillers were commissioned at Six Pacific Place, exemplifying a shared vision of sustainable built environment between Swire Properties and Carrier. The brand-new Grade-A office building with a total area of around 218,000 sq. ft. is built to the highest sustainability standards, achieving Platinum ratings in BEAM Plus, LEED, WELL, as well as in WiredScore and SmartScore.

It excels at Full Load with Coefficient of Performance (COP) of up to 7.3 and an Integrated Part Load Value (IPLV) of 12.3 at AHRI conditions. The chiller adopts PUREtec™ R-1233zd(E), a hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs) non-Ozone Depletion refrigerant with ultra-low Global Warming Potential (GWP) close to 1, which is non-flammable and non-toxic with an A1 rating in ASHRAE-34 safety standard.
