ESG Green Development & Carbon Neutrality Awards 2023
Organised by AM730 and co-organised by The Institute of Financial Technologists of Asia (IFTA) and The Institute of ESG & Benchmark (IESGB), the first edition of “ESG Green Development & Carbon Neutrality Awards 2023” was held at the HKCEC on 18 March 2024. The Awards aim to promote sustainable development and the achievement of carbon neutrality by 2050.
InnoGreen was honoured with the Outstanding Green Application Award - Green Project (Environmental Protection Industry), signifying the recognition of the Company for its contributions to corporate sustainability in Hong Kong.
Green Building Award 2023 - Grand Award (Completed Projects – Residential Building)
Project Name: ONE SOHO
Type of product: VS165 (Vertical Green)
ONE SOHO, located at Shantung Street, Mong Kok, is one of InnoGreen’s significant residential projects completed in 2023. ONE SOHO won the Grand Award in the New Buildings Category: Completed Projects – Residential Building of the Green Building Award 2023 jointly organised by the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC) and the Professional Green Building Council (PGBC) biennially.
InnoGreen’s Innovative Design - Smart Greenwall System
Project name: 2 Murray Road, Central
Type of product: Smart Greenwall (Vertical Green)
Expected project completion: May 2024
Technological highlights: Smart Green Wall, equipped with mist system and IoT sensors for smart management
The project adopted a “Soil-less Hydroponic” design using mainly Pumice Stone as a growth medium for planting. Smart technology was incorporated into the system to enhance its ESG contributions for clients and building users.
In collaboration with a local startup based in Hong Kong Science Park, InnoGreen’s Smart Greenwall is equipped with an air purifying system using the root zone filter of plants as a filtering medium to effectively eliminate air pollutants such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and PM2.5.
This greenwall system design is proven to be beneficial for plant health. Pressurised air forms pores and gaps in the root when it squeezes through the growth and filter medium, providing the roots with breathing space. The growth medium on the green wall efficiently captures pollutants and enables to break them down into nutrients. As a result, the greenwall system can improve indoor air quality (IAQ) with synergistic effects of plant biodegradation and the filtering functionality of the growth medium in InnoGreen’s design.
