WSP celebrates 45 years of innovation and beyond in Hong Kong
WSP has hosted a celebration event at Sky100 under the theme ‘Expanding the Spectrum of Innovation’ to mark the firm’s tremendous achievement and milestone in 45 years with over 200 valued clients, collaborators and business partners from both public and private sectors.
By showcasing key project achievements throughout 45 years’ presence in Hong Kong, WSP tells its unique Hong Kong story through demonstrating its strong multidisciplinary expertise and engineering innovation in various types of projects, as well as highlighting its continuous unwavering contribution to innovate the future and create long-lasting and dynamic impact that shapes the city’s future development and growth.
WSP also launched its 45th anniversary video “We Are Future Thinkers”, to look at how fellow WSP’s senior leaders and young engineers visualise and innovate a sustainable future for the people, buildings, infrastructure, and the environment with Future Ready vision and forward-thinking mindset. The video asks questions of what our future holds and showcases how WSP pushes boundaries of innovation and sustainability and leverages top-notch engineering and design expertise to create the reality and deliver the best solutions that break paradigms. From smart living, wellbeing, green urban spaces, intelligent transportation, circular economy, renewable resources, biodiversity, to stable climate, WSP has been designing the finest outcomes for every segment within the society and forging a more liveable and resilient place for all to live, work, play and do business.
Since the establishment of a permanent office in Hong Kong in 1978, WSP has been providing high-quality engineering and professional services to support the development of this vibrant city. To enhance collaboration and knowledge exchange with the industry, WSP will host a seminar series during October and November to dive into some prominent trends from multidisciplinary perspectives that will define our future, including net zero, sustainability, ESG, smart infrastructure, and technologies, bringing a deeper understanding of WSP’s strong capabilities and thought-provoking discussions to the audience.
