ATAL launches Corporate Sustainability Strategy Framework in first standalone ESG Report, underscoring its commitment to sustainability
A pioneer and leader in environmental engineering for more than four decades, Analogue Holdings Limited (“ATAL” or the “Group”) has published its first standalone 2021 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report, with an aim to enhance transparency and communications with stakeholders on the Group's achievements in ESG aspects.
Prepared in accordance with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's ESG Reporting Guide, the Report details the Group's 2021 ESG initiatives and unveils its first Corporate Sustainability Strategy Framework. By integrating sustainability considerations into all parts of the Group's daily operations and business strategies, the Framework underpins a targeted and integrated approach to create shared values and generate positive environmental and social impacts for a more connected and sustainable future.
Key highlights of ATAL's Corporate Sustainability Strategy Framework
- Decarbonising our operation – ATAL strives to minimise its environmental impacts of operations through decarbonisation and responsible consumption of resources. The Framework covers the Group's initiatives in transition to low-carbon operation to reduce carbon footprint; resource optimisation and effective consumption to enhance operational efficiency and productivity; and climate risk management to identify and respond to climate-related threats and enhance the Group's adaptability and resilience to climate change.
- Driving smart city development – With the aim to improve people's quality of life, ATAL leverages innovative technologies to make our city smarter, greener, healthier and liveable; promote optimisation of buildings and infrastructure to achieve energy conservation and carbon reduction; and enhance water quality and sanitation with the application of advanced technologies.
- Co-creating a sustainable value chain –Through establishing strategic partnership with stakeholders such as subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project quality, manage supply chain risks and improve project efficiency, ATAL delivers quality, reliable and excellent services to customers, while ensuring the rights and interests of customers are well protected. Community investment including corporate social responsibility programmes and donations is also a core part of the Group's business to build a better future for all.
- Advancing our people – By fostering a people-centric and inclusive workplace, ATAL not only safeguards the health and well-being of its people, but also cultivates their continual learning culture and nurture a pipeline of innovative engineering professionals. Aligning with the Group's vision in talent development, a new ATAL Training Centre was opened in 2021 with more than 1,000 graduate trainees and technicians trained over the years, ensuring a pipeline of engineering professionals for the Group and the industry as a whole.
