The HKGBC, as an Established Member of the WorldGBC, has been active in many WorldGBC-led projects and activities, including the WorldGBC Asia Pacific Leadership in Green Building Awards (The Awards) since its debut in 2014.
The WorldGBC Asia Pacific Leadership in Green Building Awards 2024 showcase and celebrate the achievements of businesses and innovators which are leading the way on sustainability in buildings in the Asia Pacific Region. Outstanding green building projects and companies, as well as women professionals were nominated by the 17 Green Building Councils which make up the WorldGBC’s Asia Pacific Regional Network Awards.

Ms Grace KWOK is the Chairman and Executive Director of the Allied Environmental Consultants Limited, and also the Director of the Hong Kong Green Building Council. With 25 years of expertise in sustainable design and green building initiatives in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and the Asia-Pacific region, Grace stands out as a female passionate advocate for regenerative sustainability for the built environment. Her pioneering efforts in adapting international green building rating systems to fit the local context, coupled with her synergistic work in both her public and commercial roles, have significantly elevated market readiness and propelled the development of green building standards and green finance in the region. Through her wealth of experience and visionary leadership, Grace serves as a beacon of inspiration, empowering future female leaders to forge lasting, transformative impacts.
