The Hong Kong Report on the State of Sustainable Built Environment 2024 (HK Report 2024), themed "Innovations towards Net Zero: Building Sustainable and Resilient Urban Environments", has been released in electronic format alongside the WSBE24. Published every three years, the HK Report 2024 aims to showcase the collective efforts of the Government, industry and academia in navigating the path towards achieving net-zero emissions.

The Report highlights successful collaborations that have resulted in noteworthy projects and significant research and planning. This edition also includes a new chapter dedicated to exploring green building materials and technologies, along with five insightful interviews featuring renowned experts and young advocates who share valuable perspectives on Hong Kong's decarbonisation roadmap and strategic planning.

Featuring over 100 groundbreaking projects, outstanding research and planning initiatives, and cutting-edge innovations, the Report provides a comprehensive overview of the progress and advancements made in the city's green building development.
