Ir Gary CHIANG is the Principal Manager, Business Development & Support at CLP Power Hong Kong Limited, where he leads the development and implementation of Demand Side Management (DSM) programmes, Energy Efficiency & Conservation (EE&C) initiatives, and renewable energy schemes, including the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) and Renewable Energy Certificates (REC). He is actively engaged in driving customer decarbonisation, energy optimisation, and sustainable development across the commercial, industrial, institutional, and public sectors.
With over 20 years of experience in the engineering and energy industries, Gary has successfully delivered a wide range of building services and infrastructure projects in Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland. His career spans consultancy, contracting, and power utility sectors, providing him with a unique combination of technical expertise, project management capability, and strategic business insight. He has extensive experience in energy management, building services engineering, sustainability, demand-side resources, and large-scale programme implementation.
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Gary is a respected industry leader and active advocate for professional development within the engineering community. He has served as Chairman of both the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) Hong Kong Region and the Energy Institute (EI) Hong Kong Branch, contributing significantly to industry advancement, knowledge sharing, and the nurturing of future engineering professionals.

Ms Jessica CHAN

Jessica is the Head of Sustainability at MTR Corporation. She leads the development and implementation of the Corporation’s sustainability strategies, drives key initiatives, oversees sustainability reporting and disclosures, and supports sustainable finance initiatives. With more than 25 years of experience in environmental and corporate sustainability, Jessica is a seasoned sustainability professional who combines strategic leadership with deep technical expertise and strong stakeholder engagement.
Jessica is an active contributor to the sustainability community and serves on various international and local sustainability-related committees. Her current external appointments include Vice-Chair of the Sustainable Development Committee of the International Association of Public Transport, member of the Community of Practitioners under the Reporting for Business Resilience Initiative of the World Economic Forum, member of the Environment & Sustainability Committee of The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, and member of the Steering Committees of both the Climate Change Business Forum Advisory Group and the Nature and Biodiversity Advisory Group of the Business Environment Council. In addition, she is appointed as a Co-opt Member of the Sub-committee on Low-carbon Transition under the Council for Carbon Neutrality and Sustainable Development of the HKSAR Government.
Jessica also contributes to academia through her involvement in higher education and professional development. She serves as a member of the Programme Advisory Committee for an MSc sustainability programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and as a member of the Advisory Board for an MSc ESG Management programme at Lingnan University. Since 2021, she has been a member of the Board of Examiners for the Hong Kong Sustainability Award organised by The Hong Kong Management Association.

Dr Paul KAU

Dr Paul KAU is the Managing Director of Earth & Environment Services for the Hong Kong and China region, and is WSP’s Asia Sustainability Committee Representative. He has carried out environmental health and safety (EHS) assessments, environmental impact assessments (EIA) and remediation projects throughout Asia for over 25 years, including the Variation of Environmental Permit (VEP) for MTRC’s Hung Shui Kiu Station and EIA for the Kai Tak Smart and Green Mass Transit System.
Paul has also worked on numerous carbon and water reduction road-mapping projects, been a guest lecturer at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University on Contaminated Land Management, committee member of the Hong Kong AGS Geo-environment Working Group and a consulting referee for the Australian CSIRO Research Publications.

Mr Yasushi KINOSHITA

Mr Yasushi KINOSHITA, Esq., FRICS, is Representative Member of Eminence Partners, an independent real estate investment advisory firm he founded in 2017, and Chairperson of Green Building Japan, a not-for-profit organization advancing sustainability in Japan's built environment.
Through Eminence Partners he advises foreign institutional investors and Japanese stakeholders on aligning their portfolios with global ESG standards, including LEED, WELL and SITES. As Chairperson of Green Building Japan he leads a coalition of professionals promoting the adoption of sustainability certifications across the country.
He brings nearly four decades of experience in real estate investment and structured finance. He served as General Manager of the Real Estate Principal Investment Division at Shinsei Bank, now SBI Shinsei Bank; as Representative Director and Deputy President of Touchstone Capital Management; and as COO and Managing Director of Secured Capital Japan (a.k.a. PAG Investment Management).
He serves on the Governance Council of the International WELL Building Institute, one of eighteen global leaders overseeing the integrity of the WELL standard, co-chairs IWBI's Investing for Health Advisory, and is a Commissioner of the Global Commission on Healthy Indoor Air. He is an Executive Committee member of ULI Japan and Co-Chair of its Sustainable Development Council, and serves The Counselors of Real Estate as Co-Chair of the Asian Chapter and Associate Editor (Asia) for Real Estate Issues. He speaks regularly at green building and ESG conferences and seminars in Japan and across the Asia Pacific region.
He is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York and is a LEED AP O+M, WELL Faculty, WELL AP and CASBEE AP. He holds an LLM from Cornell Law School and an LLB from Waseda University.
