WANG Hong, born in Zhongxiang, Hubei in1962, male, master degree of Architecture and Civil Engineering in Tsinghua University, professor-level senior engineer, national Class A registered constructor, member of CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building), an expert with special allowance from the State Council. Currently, he is the Party Secretary and Chairman of China Construction science and industry corporation, Ltd. (formerly China Construction Steel Structure Co., Ltd.); he is also the chairman of the Shenzhen Green Building Association and the chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the national Real Estate Chamber of Commerce. He was awarded the "National Labor Medal", "National Model Worker", "Leader of Chinese Steel Structure Enterprise", "Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award", " National Model Worker with Innovation ability", and "Industry Meritorious Person of the 40th Anniversary of Shenzhen Reform and Opening-up" "Hundreds of Business Entrepreneurs in Guangdong" and other honorary titles.
Having worked for over 30 years, he has participated in the construction of major projects in the industry, leading China Construction science and industry corporation, Ltd. to develop into China's largest steel industry group with the most fame. He has been fighting on the front line of business management and green building innovation and practice, and has made outstanding contributions to the development of the company and the industry. A number of his research results have won national awards, among which "Research and Application of Construction Technology for Complex Spatial Steel Structure Curve Slip and Asymmetric Overall Lifting" and "Research and Application of Restressed Construction Technology for Large Span Steel Structures" won the National Science and Technology Progress Second prize; in addition, he won 14 provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards, and published more than 30 academic papers on steel structure construction.
