Objective
This is a service provided by HKGBC to enable concerned parties to obtain a report on whether a proposed construction or renovation project meets the criteria in the “Hong Kong Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance” issued by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA).
Target users
- Banks or related financial institutions (with the consent of their clients, i.e. the building owners)
- Building owners
Prerequisites
- A proposed building that has obtained a Provisional or Final rating (Gold or above) under BEAM Plus New Buildings (NB); or
- A proposed building that has obtained BEAM Plus Provisional or Final rating and intends to further obtain a Provisional or Final rating under Zero-carbon Ready Building Certification; or
- An existing building with renovation plan that intends to adopt Zero-carbon Ready Building Certification by pursuing a Target Setting Certificate first.

Fee
- In general, a fee of HKD5,000 will be charged for each report. For details, please refer to the Application Guidelines.
